Intercoolers
Bigger intercoolers reduce intake temperatures and create denser air, giving the ability to produce more power, with correct fuelling. In addition a reduction in EGT’s is normally also noticed.
Our current recommendations for performance intercoolers are:
Defender Td5/TDCI – AIRTEC or Alive Ultimate Intercooler – depending on budget
Discovery 2 Manual – Airtec Motorsport
Discovery 2 Auto – Serck Motorsport – or the Airtec can be fitted if the gearbox cooler is relocated
