Terms and Conditions

By purchasing from Twinwoods 4×4 Ltd either through this website, by telephone, post or through any other sales channel such as eBay or Amazon or in person, you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of these Terms and Conditions, please do not place an order with us.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions

Our current products and prices are clearly advertised in our on-line shop. We reserve the right to change or amend our prices without notice. Occasionally we may offer discounts and promotions to the advertised prices.

All products sold remain the property of Twinwoods 4×4 Ltd until paid for in full.  We do not offer credit accounts.

VAT (Value Added Tax)

All prices shown on our retail website including delivery prices are shown including VAT at the current VAT rate.

Shipping & Delivery 

Orders are normally dispatched the same day if received before 2:00pm but please allow 3 working days from payment.  Please allow extra time during Bank Holidays and Christmas.  If there is going to be a significant delay, we will contact you with an expected dispatch date. Orders will be dispatched by either Royal Mail or our courier depending on the weight of the order and the delivery postcode. If an order is required urgently please contact us before placing an order to ensure we have stock. Please allow 7-10 days for delivery from posting date for postal deliveries and 3-5 days for courier deliveries within the UK. Please allow an extra 7 days for Europe and an extra 15 days for all other countries. Should an order not get delivered, please contact us for help. Royal Mail do not consider an item of mail lost until after 15 working days in the UK or 30 days for all other countries.  Whilst we will endeavour to assist as much as we can, once your order has left us it is in the hands of the delivery provider.  However we do monitor performance and your feedback helps ensure we use suitable providers.

Customer Collections

You are welcome to collect your order, however please contact us first to arrange this.  We can usually accommodate evening and weekend collections with some notice.  Just select Collection at checkout and no postage and packaging will be added.

Stock Availabilty

We make every effort to make sure that we carry stock of all the items shown as available or in stock. However, we do occasionally get caught out or let down by suppliers. Some items are shown as “available on back order” meaning we need to order these items in for you.  Please allow some extra time for this, usually an additional 1-2 days, or contact us first to check. 

Vehicle Fitment

Item descriptions and any fitment guides are advertised to the best of our knowledge, we rely on the information given to us by parts and vehicle manufacturers and other third parties. We can only go on the information we are given for the vehicle as it was built and how it left the factory. If the vehicle has been modified from standard, then there is no guarantee that the fitment information we give will be correct. In these circumstances the buyer is expected to check that the parts are suitable before ordering. Manufacturers and suppliers do occasionally change the specifications or supply an alternative without notifying us.

Product Guarantee

All items are sold subject to the manufacturers guarantee. In most cases, unless otherwise stated this will be at least 12 months for new items and parts. Items or parts sold as used are not covered by any guarantee but can be returned for a refund if they are considered not as described. The guarantee only covers the specific item or part, the guarantee does not cover any consequential losses or damage, personal or to property. Product guarantees only cover items for normal use, unless otherwise specified this guarantee does not cover professional or competition use or any part that is incorrectly fitted, damaged during fitting or abused in any way. Replacement parts are only guaranteed for normal road use, not for off-road use or competition use. Any faulty item or part must be returned with details of the date of purchase and an invoice/packing number for inspection before a refund or replacement is offered. Some items will need to be returned to the manufacturer for inspection before a refund or replacement is considered. The guarantee does not cover any freight charges; the buyer is responsible for any return postage or courier fees.

Returns Policy

Our 30-day returns policy means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received the item, unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact) and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item, less the postage/delivery charge. We can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty. Please note that we reserve the right to send back items to you that have been returned to us after 30 days unless they are faulty. For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service if the value of the return is more than £30.00 GBP. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged or defective.

Workshop

Twinwoods 4×4 Ltd torque all wheel nuts according to manufactures guidelines however we recommend all customers to re-torque all wheel nuts after 50km/30 miles. We will not be held responsible for any damage resulting from non-compliance with this policy.

Returning Goods

Any return for unwanted or warranty items must be returned to the address below and must be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice and a brief note to explain the return reason, simply saying faulty is not enough. If you do not have a copy of your invoice, please contact us and we will send you a copy. Any parcels received without this information will not be processed, without exception.

Cancellation Policy

An order placed through our on-line shop can be cancelled if adequate notice is given before we dispatch the order. Once an order has been packed and/or dispatched it cannot be cancelled but the goods can be returned in accordance with our return policy after they have been received.

Events

Any events organised and run by Twinwoods 4×4 Ltd are done so purely on a fun basis.  Your participation is purely at your own risk and we will not accept any liability for injury, damage or any other loss.  This includes any other event we may promote but that we may not be involved in organising.
