Discovery 2 Rear Brake Upgrade Kit – LOF POWERspec Kit
The LOF POWERspec Brake kit is designed for heavily loaded D2's. POWERspec kits come complete with fitting kit including fasteners, pins, anti rattle shims and the correct grease where necessary. Everything needed to upgrade your D2 brakes. Vented Brake Discs: Dimpled and grooved, with black phosphate finish for corrosion resistance and removal of Debris & Heat. Brake Pads: Performance Organic/ Ceramic friction material. POWERspec Pads: The brake pads have been designed for tuned and modified hard working trucks. A high braking effect, Upgraded coefficient of friction (0.57) Designed for fast road use, stopping highly loaded vehicles including towing vehicles. POWERspec pads have edge chamfers which reduce noise but do not reduce life, uncoated, minimal bedding in required. Pads include noise reduction coating shim on the rear of the pad.
D2 Brake Retaining Screw Set (Countersunk Allen Socket Head)
Set of 5 disc/drum retaining screws. Made in A2 stainless steel to ISO 10642 standards. Fits Discovery 2 hubs and transmission brake drum. A perfect replacement to the original disc retaining bolts which are commonly rusted in and often cannot be removed with a normal Philips screwdriver. These require an Allen key offering much better grip than a screwdriver. Sold in sets of five for the four brake discs and transmission brake. We recommend adding a small amount of grease to the threads and not over tightening. Replaces SF108201L. Also fits Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic transmission drums. Also available in bulk - please contact us.
