If your oil level is rising or your TD5 is cutting out, struggling to start or even won’t start at all then this could be just the kit for you. This is a full TD5 injector seal kit containing genuine Land Rover copper injector washers and injector O rings for all TD5 engines.
When going to the time and effort of removing the rocker shaft and injectors we recommend using Genuine Land Rover copper washers and seals. Also ensure the injector bores are spotlessly clean and dry before refitting injectors. A new TD5 Injector Loom is also recommended.

Injector O ring failure causes diesel to mix with the oil. This makes the oil level rise and if left unnoticed could potentially cause a runaway engine and poor lubrication of engine components.
Injector copper washer failure can cause poor starting and intermittent engine cut out, usually also causing the fuel pump to become noisy as it’s drawing air into the fuel system. This is not the only reason a fuel pump can become noisy so if this is your only symptom then be sure to fully investigate it before committing to new parts.
A common misconception is that injector seal failure results in diesel in the oil – this can only happen if the O ring perishes. The copper washer seals against combustion gases and it is this which can cause rough running and poor starting. Two seals causing two different issues and symptoms.
